About Stewart

As a five times Commonwealth Games weightlifting medallist Stewart is a focused, determined and energetic sports professional.

He began his lifting career at the Orpington Weightlifting Club becoming Britain’s strongest schoolboy by the age of sixteen. He went on to become British junior and senior weightlifting champion and competed for England and Great Britain at World and European level.

In his capacity as fitness consultant and personal trainer at Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre he worked closely with elite athletes and their national governing bodies on strength and conditioning programmes.

With this comprehensive wealth of knowledge, Stewart is able to expertly tailor programmes that suit all fitness levels.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, Champagne in one hand – strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming WOO HOO – what a ride!

History of Zalva

The Zalva name has been passed down through many generations. Its origins are with a circus troop called the Zalvas who performed on the high wire and trapeze. The name Zalva has been used as a middle name for all boys born in the family line and is still used today.
